Darcy is an 8-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier Cross, currently residing in Waltham Abbey.
Her journey to our care began due to her previous owners’ change in circumstances. Despite life’s uncertainties, Darcy remains a loving and affectionate companion, yearning for a peaceful abode where she can bask in the warmth of human company.
She revels in the simple pleasures of curling up on a welcoming lap for cuddles, seeking solace and security in the embrace of her caretaker.
A calm and tranquil environment is paramount for Darcy’s well-being, coupled with the reassuring presence of an owner who can be with her throughout the day, as she struggles with solitude.
While she may initially display nervousness in unfamiliar settings, her gentle disposition shines through in her interactions with other dogs, making her a potential candidate for cohabitation with a calm male canine companion.
To support her journey to optimal health, Darcy is currently on a weight management program, diligently working towards shedding a few extra pounds.
