Odin, a 3-year-old medium male cross breed.
He is a very sweet, happy, playful and loving boy who loves a cuddle and a fuss on the sofa. He absolutely adores his human, his toys and praise. Odin is very much loved by everyone both his family and his dog walkers.
He is very well manned and behaved at home. Odin is good at the vets, neutered, up to date on his flea and worming and is absolutely delightful on walks.
He loves the beach and has enjoyed sitting in pubs or cafes, he just requires an experienced owner to help him feel confident in those environments. He does require an experienced owner as he can be nervous around people as he has resource guarding traits.
Odin cannot live with other pets as he has a strong prey drive and doesn’t cope well with sharing his space or his people with other dogs, He displays qualities of a shepherding dog so someone with breed experience would be beneficial.
Odin would suit a quiet, pet free home with lots of walks and playtime. He can sometimes react to lots of factors on a walk, other dogs, bikes, joggers and children.
He will react by either getting overly excited and jumping up or lunging at people. He can be very wary of men but loves them hard when he trusts them.
However, in saying that, he has had many event free walks with patience and reassurance. His dog walkers rarely reported any issues and Odin enjoyed playing with other dogs.
He just needs firm boundaries and confident instruction, This beautiful boy is currently in Solihull.
